found the surf shops were below australian prices last year. if you search you can get good bargains. try the surf factory outlets on the airport by-pass road, got a lot of cheap gear there last year. i just take 3 pairs of shorts, three tops, pyjamas, underwear and buy the rest when i get there. have a great trip
