we have just used lastminute.com.au and have had no problems.
Nusa Dua Beach and Spa is fantastic - stayed there in Oct last year and couldnt fault them. The boys (14 and 15) had a blast with the guys that organised the volleyball, table tennis etc. and us adults relaxed and drank and ate and the spa is brilliant.
some hotels will actually negotiate over the net but I have heard from a friend at work that the Bali Dynasty gave more expensive prices than the travel agent here in Melb!!!!! so it doesnt always work but if you dont try then you will never know. we have done this with the Nusa Dua for going back in Oct
