I have booked over the internet many times and I have never had any problems. Just make sure that you are giving your details over a secure site and you should be right. One of the great things about internet booking is that you can do it in your home country or you can do it when you get to bali. So if you dont get the price or the hotel you want you can walk down the road to the nearest internet cafe and make your booking from there. I have used many sites with no trouble. i agree that kecak.com is good and also Indo Mukti.
