Scientific evidence published in medical journals! I was listening to a research fellow today who said that evidence exists that the noraml early childhood illnesses (mumps/measles) 'primes' the immune system and results in protection against other illnesses, in the case quoted, ovarian and testicular cancer.
That, plus the fact that some people react very badly to immunisations and vaccinations (including adult onset ulcerative colitis) - it is no wonder people are confused about whether immunisations/vacc are helpful or harmful. On the other hand, my mother lived thru a polio epidemic and 2 of her friends died!
