I love Balinese food and eat nothing else when there. Ordering campurs and rijstaffels whenever I could. But over the last 7 yrs its been getting more and more westernised and I have been largely disappointed. Asking for it Bali style used to help. I've been tempted by some of the carts but was too afraid to try. Just roasted peanuts or fresh corn to start off with. Is this all ok now? Years ago this was a big NO NO.
