Last time I was in Bali I was travelling with 2 other girls and not Partner and Kids, they tried to charge us excess luggage and we just flatly refused, we said that we had no money and there was nnothing that we could do, in the end they made us re-arrange our luggage with our hand luggage and let us on - no charge.
