get your wife to take some snacks, have one when you get to river, then they stop halfway, they will give you water. possibly one more hour then the steps, then lunch.we have been with two companies,on the same river,telewaga(can't spell it lol) sobek is the most expensive, but very professional. Bali international rafting is a bit rough around the edges, but about half the price. we've been taking our daughter since she was 8, we've been 3 times and it's very safe, we will be going again in sept.
