Bali gold is usually a different carat 14 or 22, to Australia and is a differnt colour. The $2 rings and braclets are a great little gift but they do go black and discoloured very quickly but you can clean them just as quick with brasso, better still coat them with clear nail polish and they stay shiny for ages.
