Just got back last Thursday and I bought a phone card in Bali for 25,000rp and I called and sent text messages to Australia ok. I bought it at the mobile phone stand in the enterance to Matahari in Kuta Square. They had all different prices but that one suited me. The guy there put it in my phone for me and rang up to activate as well.
