kangkung? Its water spinach, stirfried, and it has to be my favourite vegie in Bali. If you ever get the chance you also have to try what we call 'Javanese donuts'. I forget their proper name, it's got an 'u' in it, I can at least remember that much. It's grated up tapioca with gula in the middle, then deep fried, and it's absolutely bloody beautiful! It can also be cooked in a banana leaf, then it tastes totally different. Happy hunting!
