Hi we stay at the Plaza hotel everytime (5), last time was Aug last year and again this Sept it hasnt changed much at all and I would gladly answer any questions.
Not the best pool as in the middle of hotel so shaded, we dont bother with pools so good for us, restaurants great, staff wonderfull, activities desk but better to arrange your own outside? free service bus to Plaza suites, shopping and beach also Kuta for small price. connecting rooms you can hear everything through, long corridors but lifts to all floors. tea and coffee plus free bottle of water x2 each day. fully stocked fridge, in room safe. I would think suites more suited to children - although you can use facilities at either.
