I took some Australian made shoes and asked them to copy them. Initially the leather wasn't quite as supple, but they quickly softened up. The soles didn't look as "suedey" as the Australian and English made shoes, but wire brushed up OK. [I'm assuming here that you are interested in dance shoes.]

I feel sure that they could do copies from pictures or a description, but didn't try that myself. I had to stress that I wanted an "easy" fit, as otherwise they could have been too tight. I have seen on the Forum that some people's feet swell with the heat whilst they're in Bali and that this should be allowed for, otherwise the shoes may not fit tightly enough when you get home. I think they may have been allowing for this, but I had to tell them that my feet were not affected by the heat and they had to be an "easy" fit as soon as I tried them on.

We paid AU$30 per pair, but that may have been based on a multiple order. Hope this is the kind of info you require.
