The food at Lamak is quite good and on a par with many of the good restaurants around the world. The setting is excellent and there is a choice between a small air conditioned area and open air areas. The decor and place settings are imaginative. The service is excellent. They have an extensive wine list plus a great bar for pre-dinner drinks.
This restaurant is more laid back than somewhere like Mozaic and thus more easily appreciated by most people. It suits my tastes perfectly.
The average meal is going to cost you about $100 between 2 people which would include 3 courses and a glass of wine each.
If it was in Sydney or Melbourne, it would probably receive one hat.
