I thought makro was a waste of time. Dont kill me everyone! But I wsnt that impressed. And it's a fair way out of Legian/Kuta - (although that means it's a $4 taxi ride as opposed to $3), but that if you were going to travel for a supermarket I reckon Matahari's in Denpassar'd be better, although you can get pretty much the same stuff at the Kuta store, and it's still ridiculously cheap. Eg., the toothbrushes at MAkro were really basic and crappy, but Matahari's had a better range and they were actually cheaper. But other people rate it. Oh! And the food stuff (like chicken crimpies, etc) was more expensive than oz at makro ($3.60)
