I don't know about the Elephants but we are late fourty's and have stayed at the Bounty 26 times. As long as you are young at heart it should not bother you. It is just a very social hotel with quiet a few mixed ages. We have never lost any sleep over noisy guests at night and you can relax during the day without any bother..
As Saksimata said, Check out Espresso and also we drop into Kori
most nights to listen to music and have a few drinks.
Kori is a great restaurant in Poppies two on the same side as the Bounty towards Julan Leigian.
When you arrive at the Bounty, request a room on the ground floor level as the steps up to the other floors are very difficult with a bad hip.!!!! when you see them you will know what I mean.
