I'm 6'2" and even though that's not exactly basketballer height I find that reclined chairs place considerable pressure on my knees. I once almost got into a fight with an Italian couple on a trip from Rome to Australia when my legs actually physically prevented this woman from fully reclining her seat. Her boyfriend thought I was deliberately preventing her from reclining and after 3 weeks in italy by myself I was just about ready to throw the fool through a window which is what I would have done if the airline staff had not quickly intervened. Anyway, the upshot is that I think people should have some consideration of people around them. People who spend entire flights with their seats reclined, with no consideration of their 'space encroachment' should be wacked over the back of the head until they realise the folly of their ways. I can understand the desire to be reclined when sleeping but the rest of the time, no thanks.
