I do not know exactly, I can only recall a converstaion with a friend years ago now & him saying something about it interfering with someone elses messages to the gods?
I have no idea whether this is correct or not, I will ask my hubby (if I remember) tonight.
Another thing I remember was if your incense didn't light it was a message to you?!
