We have stayed at the PR a couple of times and, like others have said it is good value for money and its location is wonderful. The breakfast, while not buffet, is lovely and the breakfast staff can't do enough for you. Last year we went to Lombok for a week, leaving from the PJ at 5.00am, weren't going to worry about breakfast, but the staff insisted that we have breakfast and happily started cooking at 4.30am so we could get fed!
The one thing that I dont like about the hotel is that it sometimes gets full of groups of unaccompanied young people and the noise can get out of control. Also, the pool near the restaurant is quite small and its a bit hard to have a drink at the swimup bar when parents let their young kids spend the afternoon doing bombies into your lap.
