We were there last August, 2 older adults with no children. [Kids grown up.] We stayed in a standard villa, first floor, up a little spiral staircase, with a small balcony at the top, big enough to sit out on. My kids would have been safe there, they were full of energy, but not excessively unruly. Just one large bed in the room.

There were a number of families with children staying there the same time as us, varying from babies up to pre-teen. I have no idea what their accomodation consisted of, but the hotel must be equipped to handle families.

There are three classes of accomodation listed on the website, std room, std villa and superior villa [similar to std, but with a small kitchenette] and on the ground floor. http://www.baliayuhotel.com/
