Check the battery charger. Most of the newer ones are 110/220v-50/60Hz so will work in Bali with only an adapter. The charger for our Sony digital camera and the DVD player we took in January were both OK with just the adapter. The hairdryer and curling iron might be the same but will probably be useless most of the time.
