We just arrived home on Thursday. We stayed at the Garden View which is a very budget hotel but it is what we like as I like the extra money to shop with. While we we there there was a young newly married couple on their honeymoon who came to our hotel EVERY day. They were staying at the Padma they paid $5,500 for 8 or 10 nights but prefered to come to the Garden View instead as the food and drink was a third of the price of the Padma. The girl Renee said only one person had spoken to them at the Padma and no one seemed very friendly. Her aunty was staying at the Garden View so she visted her and loved the friendlyness of the guests and staff so came over daily to eat and swim. So find out if anyone you know has stayed there because no matter how much you end paying if you don't have fun it is wasted.
