Hi Ellen just got back on Thursday and we went the the Bakas Elephant Pk. When we arrived our hotel transfer man Willy said he would take us (6) and when he rang us a few days later he told us the price was $20USD per person for transport and $66USD per person to ride. We felt that was a rip off. fortunatley we met up with our freelance tour Guide John and he quoted us $40USD per person for transport to and from, admission to park, elephant ride, buffet lunch and insurance! Naturally we went with John. We have used John now for 9 years and always found him very fair. Contact him direct on 081 536 096 305 and he will come to your hotel and talk to you. He has a stand up near Kuta Square but I don't know the name of the street. He is a university qualified tour guide and speaks excellent english. Tell him Chris and Doug recommended him and he will look after you.
