Personally I'm not a reclining type of person and if the passenger in front reclines I get very frustrated but what can you do? On a short flight like Bali, (5.5 hrs or there abouts from Melbourne) I don't think its necessary at all unless someone has an injury or what not. Its very annoying and makes your trip uncomfy but if you have an economy ticket then you have to live and let live.
