because you see wearing a mini or not as 'not bothering anyone' you are not understanding why there would be Indonesian people who might be offended. Think of the principle or belief that you hold most dear and imagine if somebody did something to disrespect that. There are other cultures that would laugh at you for caring about that thing. Their not understanding your position doesn't diminish its importance and relevence to you and I'm sure that you would take for granted that people would respect your viewpoint and not intentionally offend you if they could help it. Its the same thing when you're travelling. Everyone unintentionally offends people at times but the things that you know for sure to be offensive you avoid.
