We booked our own accommodation last year because we flew with FF. However, you don't get bonus nights doing that. So it would probably be more economical to book a package through a travel agent and take advantage of the freebies. This year we're flying and staying for 20 nights for $1,375. The first 5 nights at the Puri Raja include breakfast, but of the next 15 at the Griya we're only paying for 8 thanks to the bonus nights. That's a bargain!
