are fine. My son has them and customs don't worry about them. I think because they are quite obvious. My son is 15 and had the usual rings, watch etc which he took off and put in the tray to go through the metal detector.
I did see a quad bike tour through villages which we are thinking of doing on our next trip which will be in the September school holidays. It was at www.baliquad.com and you could put the kids on the back of your bikes. It looked like fun. I am a bit of a chicken and I can't ride a normal bike because of a huge lack of balance, but I thought I might be able to tackle the quad bike without too much trouble.
