over there & just showed ID (got the discount on all our tickets, not just staff member). We also tend to stay at cheaper places for most of our stays, but like to have a bit of luxury, too. Last time we stayed for 3 weeks - the first 4 nights at the Conrad (luxury!!!), the next 2 weeks at various cheaper places & then the last 4 nights at the Conrad. Nice relaxing way to start and end the holiday. Forgot to mention, too, that when we stayed at the Sari Segara last June we were LITERALLY the only people staying in the entire resort for 3 out of the 4 nights we were there - it was like our own private resort! Didn't ask at any of the restaurants, but in the big hotels they could well oblige. Cheers, Sue.
