If you have that sort of budget - then splurge and stay there - I believe you can get great deals at the moment - from A$180 - 240 per night for a garden lanai - excellent value for such an amazing hotel - close to your restaurants too :) Have stayed at the Sofitel before it was done up and we loved it - beautiful gardens and pools - very private and selling for about A$130 per night with brekkie - a bargain I reckon.You will be happy with any of these hotels I am sure
