Hi Cracker & Rae, I missed the arrival of your latest addition, congratulations.
A lot has happened since our return from Bali, whilst in the middle of my JBR'S my husband was diagnosed with a serious illness and life went crazy for a while, turns out things are not as bad as originally thought. Then came a total turn around in our lives for a number of reasons including health care and after many years living in the tropics, Hawaii and Cairns we made a rushed return to Melbourne to live, sighhhh.
Not all bad as two of the kids live here with their families and all of my extended family live close by.
Where is all this leading to... We want to take adult daughter and 15 year old granddaughter to Bali in November and I have been looking at Bali Ayu and Ubud. How do you think my dearest first timers would enjoy Bali Ayu, should we keep them there for the whole two weeks and do day trips to Ubud etc; or should we spend a week in Ubud. I keep tossing up between Ramayana and Bali Ayu and Ubud Village Hotel. We've been to Bali so many times but this time I would love another Bali many timers input as I want to make it as good as possible for them we are on a moderate to superior budget.
Your input would be great.
