Are definitely the ones to go and see in Taro. PLease make sure that these are the ones you visit or you will be disappointed,
The park at Taro is wonderfully maintained by an Australian man and his wife. The elephants are all rescue elephants from Sumatra and lovingly cared for.
The other elephant park that the guide is talking about and we were also told by a guide was 'better' is apparently very run down and the elephants are not well cared for. If you have a look at the forum archives you will see that the Taro park is highly recommended by forumites whereas the other park gets nothing but bad reports.
