The beach at Seminyak was disgusting just three weeks ago - filthy, covered in rubbish and a lot of hassle on the beaches - Sanur beach is clean and calm, the town is really nice - lots of good places to eat and shop - quieter than Seminyak agreed but also much easier to get up to Ubud or the east coast. We stayed at the Bali Hyatt at Sanur and had a fab time - we also stayed at the Sofitel Seminyak and had a miserable time - Its up to you but Sanur was heaps better for us!!
