Yep, that l'il skirmish came completely by surprise to me as well;
I think Pak Jim jumped the gun a bit, that Krappe JBR (What more would expect from the Krappe King of Bali) was just a tease and covered just the few first hours after his and Rae's touch down.
Even got me sucked in, & I shared a few "Sukit Kalapa's" with him.
We actually watched the Eagles and Collingwood game on Sunday, in our small Bungalow with Rae, baby, Moira & four of the widows.
We were telling them that Pak Krupuk (Cracker!!) could arrange for some of the players to visit to Co-Op, if they ever are on holidays there;
It was a wierd experience for us, we don't normally let women into the footy domain, unless they have a beer in their hand (same rule goes for blokes, it wasn't intended to be sexist, just pureist)
Would you believe it, they honored our 2 and a half hour ritual, sans beer, and at times, actually got into the game. I think they enjoyed being present for this special occassion & a couple of the girls were suggesting the numbers of the players they thought should visit.
They had a refreshing day as they call it.
Wait for his review of that day, but as it's Day 4 it's sure to be quite a few Bintangs away.
