We always fly business class for one reason only & that is the fact that you have so much more leg room & the seats are wider which is good on the return trip home to get some decent sleep as we go straight to work on arriving home ( we run our own business ) .
This will probably sound like I'm contradicting myself but !
If the other airlines that fly over had business class we would not hesitate to change as garuda know that it is the only airline that has business class direct flights ex Australia & therefore capitalise on this & the service is not good at all , e.g if you ask for an extra blanket or pillow you will be advised that there are no spares , nothing extra on the return trip by way of meals or anything extra than economy class.
If you could get an economy flight over & a business class return for a decent price that would be the way to go .
