Sideman (pron. Sid-e-mun) is East of Ubud and it runs roughly from Klungkung (Semarapura), North to Selat on the Rendang-Amlapura road just below Mt Agung. Really beautiful countryside. If you want a lovely way to get from Ubud to Candidasa, and have some time to get there, then I would thoroughly recommend this route.
I'm glad that the reports are stirring up interest. I write them without knowing how they will come across. You know, to much info, not enough. I'm enjoying them though, it takes me back.
