We were told the hide on the drums was untreated so they cut it off. Dont know how they knew that but you are hardly in a position to argue. Otherwise pay $70 plus courier costs for fumigation.
How are you supposed to know what you can and can't bring when it is totally dependent on the whim of the customs agent.
Maybe Darwin is the problem?
