This is one of our favourite hotels (at present anyway). We've stayed there about half a dozen times and were there in September last and January this year. In September we were in the Garden Bungalows and loved it being very quiet & secluded with an outdoor shower.
The deluxe rooms up the front are also very good and the pool area there is great. No trouble getting lounges & shade or sun, suit yourself.
We will be back in August, which probably speaks for itself.
We have stayed at quite number of places over the years and one thing we have learnt is that everybody can, and does, have various views on different hotels. The choice is personal really.
