Don't mind being on the beach or close to it, no preference.
Being in the 'thick' would be good, but also interested in possibly staying in 2 hotels in bali (1 week somewhere busy, 1 week somewhere quieter - maybe seminyak)
I'm not too sure what is classed as budget/moderate in bali, but around 40-60AUD per room per night is what we are looking at spending.
We dont mind having something booked for the first week that's in the busy part of kuta, and then finding something for the second week while we're over there.
