We just got back. We had a great time in Bali.
My baby (4 months) had no problems in Bali.
We recomend requesting a baby basket for in the plane. It is a special seat for you. The air hostess will come along just after take off and connect a baby basket to the wall in front of you. Then your baby has a bed to sleep in while on the flight. We requested it going over and thought we had one until we got on the flight and was seated. We didn't have one at all. It is first in, first serve bases.
We requested it coming home and we got one. I highly recomend it after our experience on the flight over.
(Holding the baby for 6 hours) Gets a bit tiring. But he was excellent on the way over and on the way back.
We took the pram and baby carry sling. Air Paradise was very rough with the pram. When we got to Bali, we got the pram from luggage section, the pram was slightly buckled. We recomend packing the pram in a box. We had no problems pushing the pram around the streets at Kuta or Legian. The new paths are very good on 1 side of the street. If you are going out for 1 hour, allow 2 to 3 hours because the balinese love babies and you are stopped by them every 1 metre. Our baby loved them. They talked and played with him. We took every thing for our baby but we ran out of Huggie Nappies and Nan formular. We bought more of them at Marta hari. Cant remember the price but around 50,000RP each. They didn't have any baby can or jar food at Marta hari. But they had Heinz baby cereal. We put plenty of sun screen on our baby before venture-ing out. We took a mozie net and he didn't get he any mozie bits. The heat didn't bother him at all but all babies are different. We are going back in August for my 40th Birthday. We will be taking the baby again. Good Luck and have a great holiday.
