July is a fantastic time to be thinking "only 15 sleeps"
October is a lovely month in Perth and August is just so miserable and cold. Also Bali is so cool and dry (for Bali)in August. We go May, July/August and October every year but can't beat Ausgust for weather (although May is fantastic after such a long break!!)
Whatever you decide you will love it but go August if you can.
Can't comment on price but experienced friends loved KLR and say "go the access room for sure" Only thing against it for us is we love the beach and they love the shopping!!
