Sorry, I haven't been on the forum for a few days. Thanks to everyone that replied to my post - I'll look into all those possibilities for cheap places to stay in Kuta.
I'll actually be looking for something really cheap - no A/C, hot water or pool (wish I could afford it, but going away for four months so gotta save the pennies!). Will need something less than 100000 rupiah per room for the two of us, and more like 60 or 80000 when I am by myself.
In reply to Lindsay, yeah I am the Camille that knows Rudy and Suyet. Rudy keeps emailing saying that he is looking forward to coming back, so now I can actually tell him I have booked my ticket! Can't wait to go.
