Hi we just came back from Niksoma... we had stayed at Resor Seminyak for 5 nights before Niksoma and gotta say the Resor pool bar is heaps better than that at Niksoma. Niksoma doesnt have a swim up pool bar or bar as such. You just lay about on your lounges and the waiters come to you. Not very social really. But the resort was lovely, we had a beautiful room. Upstairs Overlooking the pools and ocean right on the front.
We didnt eat at the restaurant for dinner only breaky,it was ok. But we did eat a couple of times at a little place just before you go down the driveway to Niksoma called PETITE CAFE.. its a tiny little place... with a great waiter called DODI... and they also do your laundry there as well... not that you can see the laundry or anything. The place is clean.. food is good and prices are great. Dodi will look after you if you become a regular.. with COLD BINTANGS.. etc. ALso nearby is POCO LOCO mexican restaurant, very popular place.. quite big... just in the road behind Niksoma. Food good if you like mexican..Try GOSHA.. Yummy food.. nice hosts too and nice place. Also not that we ate at this one.. but was highly recommended was the Dolphin Restaurant.
If you catch a cab to Seminyak only about 10,000 rps try La Luciola.. beautiful and on the beach. Also The Living Room in Seminyak. Everyone says you gotta go to KU DE TA.. but personally I think it was over rated. There are lots more about.. great food.. and much cheaper too.
I am envious.. wish I was back there... ENJOY!!
OH yes.. almost forgot.. you have to try.. POPPIES RESTAURANT.. it is an OASIS in the middle of all the hustle & bustle.. just beautiful...and good food to..
