We recently stayed at the MBR which isn't far from the Padma.We hired a motorbike from a shop that is next door to Bamboo Corner restaurant.The0 block of shops is set back a little bit from the road & their carpark is right next to the restaurant.
This is near the corner of 3 brothers lane & Jalan Padma Utara.We paid 30,000 a day which I thought was pretty good.
My husband has over 20 yrs experience riding a motorbike in Austrralia & always has an current international bike license.It is a big risk re police "fines" if you don't have one.
In case you are not aware the Padma has a good web site that shows pictures & layouts of the different room types as well as a good map that shows the layout of the hotel & where all the different rooms are.
