Hi Karina, we have just come back from Bali and were also going to visit the krisna rajasa orphanage. We sent a couple of emails to Esther the director but got no replies. When we got to Lovina we got the hotel and the driver to ring the orphanage and also tried a couple of times ourselves but got no answer, so not sure if it is still there. We did not want to risk driving there for nothing so we rang the Giri Asih orphanage in Negara and went there instead. They, like most of the orphanages, are very poor and do not get many visitors and we were glad we went. We stayed in Lovina at the Puri Bali Hotel which is lovely, and the manager, Gede took us to the orphanage and acted as an interpreter. They had almost run out of rice for the month so if you decide to go there I would suggest stopping at the markets that are on the way and buying rice, produce, etc. Also we noticed that they only had one really old and very flat soccer ball to play with so maybe a couple of balls and a pump would be much appreciated. We were only the second visitors this year and the last couple that went donated a dvd player so some dvd's would also be good. Let me know if you need anymore info.
