We hired bikes when we were there last week. You are suppose to have an international licence. Two of the boys were pulled over by the police on a random check and read their rights (6 million fine and 3 months jail) and then offered the alternative of 50000 rup. Which do you think they chose? I would get an international licence. Better to be safe than sorry!
