To all those lovely people who responded to my posts re Resor Seminyak and Niksoma and Poppies Restaurant... Im soo sorry I missed replying to you.... Back to the old routine... work.. house.. work.. so wish I was back to the bali mode again....
In answer to the person who asked about Niksoma.. we had a deluxe suite which was right at the pool.. upstairs.. facing the pool area and ocean... very nice.. but again.. much preferred Resor for lovely ambience of the whole place.
As for poppies restaurant and cottages.. yep.. we did check out the cottages.. again.. its amazing how peaceful and beautiful it is behind their high walls away from the rat race... another Oasis..
Thank you to the person who suggested May to September.. being the best time to travel as far as the heat goes.. I will definitely take that on board... was far too hot and humid this time of year.. but.. we learn as we go dont we... and with the help of great people in the forum.. we learn lots.
As for the person who suggested we swap champas labels for lemonade labels.. quite frankly I couldnt be bothered.. the cocktails are GREAT.. the Bintang is terrific.. and I only ended up drinking 1/2 a bottle and gave the other two away.. so Next time.. I wont even worry about the bubbly.. will save that for home.. and live it up on cocktails and bintang.. YUMMMY!!
I hope these comments reach the right people who were kind enough to respond to my posts... I didnt realize I couldnt reply to them at a later date...now I know.. see... another lesson learnt...
