Not a JBR as such but a couple of recommendations from our Bali holiday. We returned on Saturday and really suffering the Bali Blues like never before.
Janoko Tailor - Poppies II - what else can I say but FANTASTIC...I had some material at home that I had bought years ago. I took pictures of what I was after. Got 2 suits (jacket, skirt, pants) for 250,000 each. Didn't need to barter just a good honest price and was so pleased with the results. I have been going to Bali every year for the past 11 years and never had clothes made before but will definately be doing every year from now on.
Andre Collection - Cnr Legian and Melasti St - had 2 leather jackets made and was extremely please with results and price. Ida was great.
Tanah Lot Private Villa - stayed last 3 nights here. It is a private residence on the cliff overlooking the Tanah Lot temples which has 4 bedrooms and a glorious pool. You have your own staff including a driver and chef. It was absolutely amazing and I would have no hesitations recommending it. Especially for a group of people. Absolutely MAGNIFICENT!
We visited our normal favourite restaurants including Poppies, Kori and Raja's.
Unfortunately it was very quiet in Bali. In the market at night sometimes the people hadn't sold anything all day. So please go back soon and spend your money. I know I am preaching to the converted but take back some friends with you to experience the charm of Bali and it's people.
