If anyone read my JBR from Sunday I must apologise if my comments on Lombok sounded negative. We only had problems at the Soedjorno hotel in Tetebatu. The rest of the people in Lombok were lovely although the street hawkers in Sengiggi are a bit pushier than the Bali ones but that's probably because there are nowhere near as many tourists around in Lombok as in Bali. Lombok was nice but I probably won't be back...this was my first time there but my 7th to Bali. I feel that Bali has more to Offer but of course that is just my opinion and every one is different. So, for anyone thinking of visiting Lombok don't be put off, but I would suggest you avoid the soedjorno hotel. The Gili islands were very nice and the peole over there are lovely, I would definitely go back there.
