I think a lot of what you disagree with was based on principles but don't forget that your principles may not be theirs.I am speaking from experience here.I was totally aghast at the things they do and corruption that exists in this part of the world when I first migrated to Malaysia but have learnt to accept them as part and parcel of life here.But in every society there are also its advantages but you need to be there for a while to appreciate them.I'm sorry though that your visit left such a bad taste in your mouth but I'm sure there'll be others out there who'd feel the same way you do.
