I was in Bali last November and it was extremely humid. I had forgotten how bad the humidity was, the rains were late but had started by the time I left in late November. Boy did it rain when it finally came. The first day of the rains I, and lots of others were stuck in Kuta markets. It ws quite a sight when some of the roofs started to leak. If you are thinking of November remember that Idul Futri (biggest Moslem holiday)happens around mid November. Jakarta closes down for a week and everyone comes to Bali for that week. Neither I or my travel agent knew about this. You haven't seen busy until you see the roads during Idul Futri. Everyone also brings their cars (usually 4 wheel drive) traffic is not just slow it is at a standstill. My ten minute trip from the airport was more like and hour. I think you would find August much better. Whenever you go, enjoy. I am going back in May. Cheers, Stormy
