yes you have to book four nights accommodation to get the cheaper fare but you don't need to do it this way. All the package fares have some land credit towards your accommodation, depending on the fare this can be from $60 to $100, this is more than enough to pay for a single room for four nights in one of the many budget hotels in Kuta. We do this all the time but we do ask that if you are not using the hotel at least get the voucher to them so they will get paid by the wholesaler.
